Text: Find numbers

Use this action to find numbers in a text field and save them to a data table.

Use Case

The Text: Find numbers action can find and isolate numbers from a text field, which can then be used later in a Workflow. This can automate the need to read documents containing text and numbers, especially if the numbers are needed elsewhere.

How to configure this action

Fields for this action

    • The text to be parsed
    • You will most likely use a reference field, in {{field-name}} format, with information gathered in a previous task or part of the Workflow, like an email trigger.
  • Output Field Prefix

    • To help keep output fields organized, choose an output field prefix to add to the beginning of each output field name as this action may output more than one field.
    • The step’s name is used as the prefix by default.

What will this output?

This action may generate multiple fields. To help keep output fields organized, the prefix above will be added to the beginning of each of the output field names, separated by two dashes. Each field will result as:{{output-field-prefix--output-field}}. Learn more
