To escape a URL is to encode it in a format your web browser can understand. It is the practice of replacing special characters like spaces, ampersands, or exclamation marks with unique codes like %20 or %21. When configuring this action, enter a string or reference a field in the Source Text field configuration. How do I reference a field?

  • Source Text

    • The string to perform the operation on. Enter text or reference a Catalytic text field.
  • Output field prefix

    • To help keep output fields organized, choose an output field prefix to add to the beginning of each output field name as this action may output more than one field.

This action may generate multiple fields. To help keep output fields organized, the prefix above will be added to the beginning of each of the output field names, separated by two dashes. Each field will result as:{{output-field-prefix--output-field}}.
