Box: Download file

Use this action to download a file from a specific Box folder.

Use case

• Download a file and send it to someone without access
• Use the information from the file for other tasks
• Download all files with a specific prefix or suffix

How to configure this action

This action requires a preconfigured Box integration. For more information on integrating PagerDuty Workflow Automation with other systems, please refer to the Integrations section of our help center, or the Box Integration Setup Guide directly.

The file size must be within PagerDuty Workflow Automation’s file size limit.

Fields for this action

• Integration

  • Select your Box integration from the options. You may have multiple integrations configured.

• File Name

  • Enter the name and type of the file to download, for example filename.pdf. The extension is required.

• File Path

  • Identify the folder and subfolders in which the file resides, for example /docs/work/myfiles

• Return field name

  • Enter the name for the field in which the result should be saved.

What will this output?

This action will output a field with the downloaded file. The field will depend on the return field name set during configuration
