Use this action to save an Excel file as a CSV file. This action supports .XLSX, .XLS, and .XLSM files.

How to configure this action

Just choose the excel file to convert, select a worksheet, then define an output field name. The output is a .CSV file.

Fields for this action

  • Spreadsheet file

    • Choose the Excel file you want to convert. Use a field reference to a file uploaded in a prior task or instance.
  • Sheet

    • The worksheet within the spreadsheet that contains the data. Enter the sheet name or the sheet order.
      • The default Excel sheet names are “Sheet1”, “Sheet2”, etc.
      • Enter a number to select by worksheet order, “1”, “2”, “3”, etc.
  • Output field name

    • To help keep output fields organized, choose a prefix that will be added to the beginning of each output field name. The name you specify will become the output field prefix for each field.

What will this output?

This action will produce a new file field with all converted data.

  • Output field name

    • This file field will store the converted CSV output as a .CSV file.
